 A Senior Advisory Agency
A Healthcare POA gives a designated person the authority to make health care decisions on behalf of the client when the client is not able to do so themselves. A health care agent should be an adult who is of sound mind and able to make difficult decisions under extremely pressure. Sometimes family or close friends are too far away to effectively asses critical health situations and sometimes it may be easier to discuss your healthcare wishes with an impartial third party who will follow your wishes above all other considerations. There are many things to consider when choosing a health care agent. We are here to help navigate the many options available and are ready and willing to step in when or if you need us.

  • Choose someone who will talk with you about your health care priorities
  • Choose someone who will act faithfully when the time comes
  • Choose someone who lives near you or can travel to be with you if needed
  • Choose someone who can handle conflicting opinions from family members, friends and medical professionals
  • Choose someone who will be a strong advocate if a doctor or health care institution is being unresponsive

We are not attorneys and this is not intended as legal advice. You are encouraged to seek your own independent legal counsel.
